About Me

am a 30-something nurse practitioner and mother to a 4 year old son.  I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 9 years.  (Married for 9 years, but 16 wonderful years of bliss).  If the name doesn't give it away, my husband is and officer in the Coast Guard.  Along with having a son, we have a new kitty named Buster & a cute doggy named Mac.  This is me:

I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 2 years so far and love it.  My other passion used to be running.  I'm working on that again.  My only goal with this blog is to keep myself accountable, but I hope that I can inspire some people along the way.
